Final update :I received the replacement frother and have been able to successfully use it for about 2 weeks. The customer service was prompt. My only criticism is that there was no communication from Amazon when the second frother was being shipped. The company said that Amazon would be sending it out to me. But I received no notification as to when it had shipped. It just arrived one day on my doorstep.If you want to use it to heat up milk then froth more milk, rinse out the container or the residual milk from the heating will burn.Second update:I received 2 replacement frother paddles fairly fast. In the meantime I have recieved several emails asking if I wanted a refund or replacement. I finally attempted to use the frother. It froths well but no longer heats up the milk, which it did the only time it ever worked properly. I have replied to the email I received last week from the company and this time asked for a replacement. I am awaiting a reply.Update: I reached out to the company to purchase a replacement frothing paddle to give it another try. The company is sending a replacement for free. I will update the review on 3-4 weeks after I get the replacement part.The first time that I used it, it worked well and I was pleased with the purchase. I hand washed the parts following the manufacturers directions, but when I attempted to put the frothing paddle back, it didn't fit properly. I looked at the directions again, but it wouldn't go back over the stem. I thought perhaps I had done it wrong. I tried to use it a second time, the milk burned and obviously it wouldn't froth because the frothing paddle wasn't in the proper place but I could not put it back as shown and I did not want to force it after it was washed.
