I was true to my IKEA hand held frother for years but it requires batteries and they can easily break when dropped or just stop working. Although I have replaced it several times, it was my best frother go-to until now. This unit runs quietly and heats your desired milk perfectly. I am using oatmilk and it makes a perfect, creamy froth. However, oatmilk doesn't typically last but it holds up longer than with my handheld version. Today I used the hot chocolate setting and I think I prefer that setting for when sharing coffee with a friend for a well blended froth. My chocolate was well mixed and stayed puffy to the end with no settlement at the bottom of the cup. I like to run it just a few seconds with water before cleaning it to get the whisk a good rinse. Honestly, this has an expensive look without the price tag. I am going to take good care of it so that it will last. My packaging included two extra whisks which felt like a bonus, as well as a cleaning brush and a rubber spatula. The only concern for some might be the short electric cord. However, it was the right length for my counter top.
