Use skim milk - full fat or creams don't froth as well. Skim milk gives the best and most airy milk froth. 2. Pre-warm the milk you will be frothing if you wish. 3. Switch on the milk frother, and with the cup with the milk at a slight tilt, insert the wand into the milk. Switch it on and move it in and out of the milk and side to side to create a light and airy milk froth. In 1 or 2 minutes you should get fluffy and airy milk froth. When done, rinse out the stainless steel milk frothing wand under running water. Since this uses 2 x AA batteries (not included), it is NOT dishwasher safe and should not be fully immersed in water or it will damage the motor. It is splash resistant for normal use.
