They are not precisely what we, Russians, are used to. I am guessing it is necessary to change the recipe to make them better preserved and shipped from Amazon. The bottom line is, it works! They are awesome. So incredibly delicious that my wife and I devoured them in one day, as soon as they arrived! An excellent price for soemthing that is barely available. The condensed milk(sgushenka) filling of the nut, can be felt, the honey, not as much. The shell is not quite as crunchy as it could be, but its softness is very pleasing, and consistent with the filling.Russians who expect an identical experience to their past, might find some differences. But those differences are not detracting and for that reason, I would highly recommend this version. If you have a sweet tooth, and want to try something different, this should pass the test of flavor. In fact, should the company come up with their version of other traditional Russian desserts (Pryaniki=Ginger Bread Pastries, Shokoladnaya Kolbaska=Chocolate Sausage, Shokoladnya Kartoshka=Chocolate Balls, Glazirovanie Sirki=Glazed Cheese Cylinders) I will be happy to try them out.Well done, Gourmet Market!
